Putting the Dumb in Dumbo ...

As I sit here in my hotel room in Vancouver, the events of this morning seem forever ago.  At least until I get up from the chair and try to move to the bed - the muscles and joints remind me that I wogged 6 miles yesterday and 13.1 today in order to complete the Dumbo Double Dare.  But it was great fun - well, sort of.  Charity did her first half-marathon and Molly beat us both (both today and yesterday).  Once we were all back in the room, we cleaned up and packed up and headed to LAX to board an Air Canada jet for Vancouver, where we will board the Disney Wonder tomorrow for 7 days touring Alaska!!  Now that's worth wogging a few miles!!
********************************************************************************
Today was a great day because: I finished the half-marathon; Charity finished her first half-marathon; Molly finished; we got to LAX in plenty of time for our flight; we had a safe, smooth flight with in-flight tv on Air Canada; we watched the drama when some dude pushed back his seat and the lady spilled her coffee all over herself; we rode the train to downtown Vancouver and looked lost until a kindly couple showed us where to go to get to the hotel; we had an excellent dinner at Cactus Club Cafe
