The Double Nickels And Their Caretaker

These are group photos from last year's 3-Day walk.  For the entire 60 miles, Sharon, KB, Molly, and I walked together - and limped together.  We picked up those who fell (that would be two of us), waited while blisters were "attended to", and generally kept each other going.  Because each of us "older" ones were born in 1957 and therefore were 55, we dubbed ourselves the "Double Nickels."  We gave Molly the honorary designation as our caretaker, since we needed one, especially the last day when we were struggling to keep going (and to keep Sharon from wandering out into traffic).  Anyhow, today is the last day of our Dub Nicks.  Tomorrow we will officially transfer to the "Fitty-What" gang - and Molly will still be our caretaker.  But I just couldn't resist posting these pictures - what a great group I am blessed to be a part of!!
