What A Great Weekend!!

Sometimes things just go right.  Such was the case for the past weekend.  Plans went as planned, or at least went according to changes in plans.  We had fun, met some new friends, and had some unforgettable experiences.  Old friendships were renewed, with promises of future adventures.  And as meaningful as walking those 60 miles was, I think offering support was equally meaningful.

Maybe it is because I know how important it is to have someone along the way to perk you up and get you a little further down the road.  Maybe it is because having been there, I know what someone might need while on their 60-mile journey.  Maybe it's because seeing so many young women wearing survivor shirts, that the cause becomes an even more important one to support.  Maybe it's because I had the opportunity to help someone else, and I took it.  Maybe it's because some dear friends said, "Sure - we have no idea what we're in for, but we believe in you and will do whatever you ask."

Whatever the reason, it was one of the best weekends ever.  There wasn't a moment that I would have changed, and every moment will be remembered with great love and gratitude.  Thanks Emily and Jeanne for a truly wonderful weekend!!
