Today's Smart Decision

This decision was actually made several months ago when I decided against doing the Country Music Half Marathon.  It's a great race with live bands playing music every mile or so, but it's a little hilly after having done races the first few months of the year in flat Florida.  Today the weather was warm - too warm to be plodding 13.1 miles - or even worse - 26.2 miles!  So instead, KB and I waddled a few miles and then watched and cheered on the runners who thought that running today was a great idea.

I like it when I is smart!

Today's blessings:  3 miles and marathoner-watching with KB; KB's birthday brunch made by Molly at her house with Kim, Maribeth, Everley and Steve; Steve's Bubba burger lunch with Sarah, Melvin, Lynnette, Lindley, Maribeth, Everley, and Molly
