Fall is Here

Leaves are turning and falling. Flowers are wilting and in need of trimming. The air is getting cooler and the HVAC has been turned to "heat" instead of "cool." The windows are open and closed, depending on the temperature. Warmer clothes from last year are reassessed and blankets are added to the bed.

In other words, summer is over and fall has arrived. As a person who needs the change of seasons, I welcome fall. I like that the hot weather is gone and a cool crispness is in the air. It's time to wind down bit from all the summer fun and think about finishing out 2011.

The only question is, how am I going to lose (in two months) all that weight that I had as a goal on January 1?

Today's blessings: quiet day doing very little
