5K-ing 4 Kids

This morning, Steve, Sam, Lynnette, and I participated in the Run 4 Kids 5K to benefit the Tennessee Baptist Children's Home. Of course, Sam and Steve ran, while Marathoner Lynnette and I were content to leisurely stroll the route. It was a great morning with perfect weather, a great post-race spread, and the proceeds going to a good cause.

As usual, I'm hoping that today's 5K will be the beginning of yet another attempt at getting in shape. With two half-marathons scheduled for the end of the summer, I've got to get moving again.

All it takes is one step in the right direction. This morning I made several - I've just got to keep at it!
