Today is the day you're supposed to wear green.
But does it really matter if you don't plan to be seen?
What if that color makes you look pale and quite sick
What if that color isn't one that you'd pick?
Do you really deserve a pinch if green isn't your vote?
Wouldn't a hug be a much better, healthier way to emote?
"It's not easy to be green," lamented Kermit the Frog,
And it's considered unlucky, if you read the National Geog.
So I think I'll wear whatever and stay safe inside.
Maybe I'll eat green instead, like tomatoes that are fried!
